Mission: Garden Tidy Up…COMPLETED!

get-attachmentIt’s been a long time coming but my Mission: Garden Tidy Up is now officially complete. I feel like getting a big red ribbon and cutting it with giant scissors and in a voice like The Queen announcing “I now declare this garden – OPEN”…

Looking at the original pictures on the Mission: Garden Tidy Up post it is quite obvious that the garden was a mess and in severe need of a makeover. I did have a plan drawn up but sometime’s it’s okay not to stick to it 100%.

I could be really clever here and create before and after photos but I can’t be bothered so just keep flicking between the posts and you will achieve the same effect without me having happily whiled away 4 hours editing photos.

Patio complete, hedged border, cat number one optional…

The compost area is gone and is now a tidy recycling are with a cat house for cat number one and cat number two. The chimnea is Greg’s – he loves burning stuff which is quite scary sometimes…

I planted some Spring bulbs in pots and other random places (don’t tell Greg), I’ll let you know how that works out come April…

Last but not least is my favorite part. We discovered so many rocks and stones when we (Greg) were digging so I decided to do something with them and created a rock border. We then we got some cool coloured pots with mini trees to line up along the side of the patio. I love it…
