#Caturday: Let Sleeping Cats Lie

Sleepy Cats

My cat, Disco, was outside playing for most of yesterday and she was so tired.

She couldn’t keep her eyes open and was asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow – MY PILLOW!

She was even too tired to open her MacBook and get working on her blog!

What about you? Do you have any photos of your sleepy pets? Share them with me in the comments below or tweet me @SteveSays204

#InternationalCatDay: Cat Selfies

My cat, Disco, disagrees with the theory that you need opposable thumbs to appear in a “selfie”…

Let me take a #selfie...

Do You See What I See?

While standing waiting to go home after work one night in the pouring rain, something caught my eye…

#FridayFoto: Eye, Eye…

The eyes have it…

This is one of the first photos I ever posted on my blog…

This is what my eye sees every time I am using my computer to write my blog posts…

This post was part of the weekly photo challenge hosted by http://dailypost.wordpress.com with the theme Eye Spy.

“This week, take “eye” as your inspiration. This is a great opportunity to photograph people or pets, but remember — eye has lots of other potential meanings, too!” –  Michelle, Daily Post.

#FridayFoto: Could This Be The Most Beautiful Boat In The World?

Boats are great!

But this boat has something extra special.

I don’t think anyone has ever witnessed a more decorated boat than this…

During a recent vacation to Marina Suites this boat was berthed in the marina and the owner had decorated it fabulously…

I did, of course, have to get on board and get a selfie with the Captain – even though he was a bit too drunk to care as perhaps was I (and also a bit shiny)…

#FridayFoto: Forget The Tricks – Give Me The Treats Please

What could be a better treat than this?

Sipping fruit licquer while watching the sun go down at Marina Suites while listening to “Froot” by Marina & The Diamonds – ultimate treat!

This post was part of the weekly photo challenge hosted by http://dailypost.wordpress.com with the theme Treat.

“This week’s photo challenge theme is “Treat,” an intentionally open-ended prompt. For many, candies aren’t a favorite indulgence. Maybe you’re a savory food lover, or you’ve gone on a beautiful vacation to treat yourself. Perhaps some quiet time alone with a beloved novel is your greatest pleasure. This week, share with us a photo of something that you consider a marvelous treat” –  Jen, Daily Post

#FridayFoto: Let Sleeping Cats (And Men) Lie

When you are taking a picture of a sleeping cat and a sleeping man you need to be extra careful because waking either of them up would not have a good outcome!

This post was part of the weekly photo challenge hosted by http://dailypost.wordpress.com with the theme Careful.

“This week, show us careful — a photo taken with care, a person being careful, or a task or detail requiring care.” –  Michelle, Daily Post.

#FridayFoto: Is It A Bird? Is It A Plane? No, It’s…

…a pair of shoes that have been launched over a cable high up in the streets of Glasgow between two tall buildings. Not something you’d expect to find is it?

Take a closer look…

This post was part of the weekly photo challenge hosted by http://dailypost.wordpress.com with the theme (Extra) Ordinary.

“expect wildly different and very personal takes on this theme, (Extra)ordinary, because our own ideas and experiences will shape our interpretations. What’s mundane yet meaningful to you? What’s a beautiful everyday thing? Or, maybe you can capture an ordinary setting or common scene that has somehow transformed — with festive decor or a new coat of paint.” –  Cheri , Daily Post.
